CJ De Leo Profile Picture

Hello, and welcome to my personal website! My name is CJ De Leo, and I am a recent graduate of Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania, where I double majored in Mass Communications and Political Science, and graduated cum laude this past May!

This website functions as a sort of portfolio to show off some of my work, and to give anyone who may be interested a small glimpse into my life. To see some of the projects I've worked on through my time at Bloomsburg, check out some of the links in the navigation on my banner.

Recent Activities

Since graduating from Bloomsburg, in addition to searching for full time entry-level employment, I am currently working at my family's textile company in a digital marketing capacity. In my spare time, I have been working on improving the layout of this website, learning more advanced programming techniques, cutting together my reel, re-editing and remastering old video projects, and trying to "find myself" and my identity in post-college life.

My "off-camera reel" - a short compilation of some of my behind-the-camera work (direction, editing, camerawork, etc.)

Outstanding Student: Telecommunications

At the tail end of my final semester at Bloomsburg, I was honored by the Mass Communications Department and College of Liberal Arts as the Outstanding Student. My selection for the award came down to a few factors: my high GPA, my involvement with on-campus activities, and the consensus of the Mass Communications faculty. All things considered, this achievement shows a clear pattern of academic excellence and my ability to succeed in a highly competitive field.

The Final Journey

The project that I have spent the most time working on as of late is "The Final Journey," an interactive short film I directed in the style of Black Mirror's "Bandersnatch." I began developing this with a few friends of mine from Bloomsburg, as a last hoorah of my senior year.
